National Medical Billing Services’ Angela Talton Appointed MoHIMA ICD-10 Expert

National Medical Billing Services, a national healthcare revenue cycle management company that specializes in servicing ambulatory surgery centers and their affiliated surgeons, announced today the company’s Senior Vice President of Coding Angela Talton was appointed by the Missouri Health Information Management Association as its sole expert resource for inquiries submitted through the association’s new ICD-10 information platform.

This Internet-based service allows healthcare organizations to submit questions about ICD-10 issues such as preparation, implementation and staff training. As a partnership between the four MoHIMA Regional Divisions, all inquiries will be routed to one centralized hub where Ms. Talton will review, research and answer each submission. The platform also utilizes a chat feature to allow participants to share information and network with their peers.
