MedArm to close, lay off up to 54 people

MedArm is closing and plans to lay off up to 54 employees, according to a Memphis Business Journal report.

The medical management and billing company notified the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development that it would make the layoffs, notes the report.

MedArm focuses on filing electronic claims and interfacing with insurance carriers, and it serves individual as well as large multidisciplinary practices.
