How does the United States compare to other western countries in healthcare? Are more or fewer people satisfied with their coverage?

France, Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom all have national models of healthcare similar to the United States, according to a study from the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions and published in GoHealth. So how does the United States stack up?

Percentage of primary care providers:

•United States: 82 percent
•Canada: 86 percent
•France: 84 percent
•Germany: 89 percent
•United Kingdom: 84 percent

Percent of people who feel "well covered" by insurance:

•United States: 35 percent
•Canada: 37 percent
•France: 37 percent
•Germany: 35 percent
•United Kingdom: 32 percent

Percentage of people who feel at least adequately insured:

•United States: 91 percent
•Canada: 92 percent
•France: 91 percent
•Germany: 91 percent
•United Kingdom: 88 percent
