Illinois Rep Introduces Bill to Require Disclosure of ASC Charges

Rep. Daniel Lipinski (D-Ill.) has introduced legislation to require the public disclosure of charges for certain hospital and ambulatory surgery center treatment episodes.

The bill was introduced May 10 and would amend the Public Health Service Act. The legislation was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
