Senate Dems’ Budget Would Repeal SGR, Restore Lost Medicare Payments

The Senate’s 114-page budget plan, chaired by Sen. Looking to remove the “uncertainty” the SGR causes, “the Senate budget assumes the costs of a permanent fix to the SGR and replaces the Medicare sequestration cuts,” according to the document.

The documents do not outline a specific plan for how the SGR would be replaced, however.
