Here’s what you should know:
1. In addition to Hershey Outpatient Surgery Center, Humana Medicare Advantage members can now receive in-network treatment at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Hershey Endoscopy Center in State College, Pa.
2. The contract also offers Humana Medicare Advantage members in-network access to Penn State Health Medical Group physicians. Penn State Health Medical Group includes physicians of the former Physicians’ Alliance, which joined Penn State Health in 2017.
3. The agreement provides in-network access for Humana Medicare Advantage Health Maintenance Organization, Preferred Provider Organization and Private Fee-for-Service health plan members.
4. The agreement builds on a previous contract giving Humana Medicare Advantage members in-network access at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, Pa.
5. The companies did not disclose terms of the agreement.
