HHS recovers $3.3B in fraudulent billing in 2014

HHS has recovered $3.3 billion in fraudulent healthcare billing for the fiscal year 2014, according to a HealthcareDIVE report.

This recovery marks the third highest return since the anti-fraud program was developed, according to the report. More than $27.8 billion has been recovered since 1997.
