Health insurance marketplace premiums expected to drop 2% in Arkansas

The Arkansas Insurance Department has projected that premium costs of insurance plans sold through the state’s health insurance marketplace will have a 2 percent net decrease in 2015.

The aggregate projection also includes plans sold through the Arkansas Private Option.

Final rates will be released before open enrollment, which begins on Nov. 15.
