Here are five notes:
1.HealthCare.gov serves 38 states.
2. Those states with their own sites may have different timetables for when consumers can view their premiums.
3. Entering their third year of availability, online health insurance markets offer consumers taxpayer-subsidized private coverage. This helps cut the share of Americans who are uninsured to nearly 9 percent.
4. Despite the reduction in the uninsured population, Americans remain divided about the effectiveness of the Affordable Care Act.
5. Consumers must enroll in HealthCare.gov by Dec. 15 for coverage starting Jan. 1.
