A Republican congressional aide said party legislators will reveal their replacement to former President Barack Obama’s ACA, sometime this week, Reuters reports.

1. President Donald Trump made repealing the ACA a main campaign priority. He has frequently asked GOP legislators to develop an alternative.

2. The anonymous GOP aide said party legislators are “in a very good place right now” and “anticipate the release of final bill text early this week,” Reuters reports.

3. The aide said the bill is a “consensus Republican plan,” but would not elaborate on what the bill contains.

4. AshLee Strong, a spokeswoman for Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, R-Wis, said, “We are now at the culmination of a years-long process to keep our promise to the American people.”
