Colorado health exchange hits 150k+ enrollments — 5 notes

Colorado’s state exchange, Connect for Health Colorado, surged to 153,583 enrollments on Jan. 31, according to The Gazette.

Here are five notes:

1. This year’s open enrollment period saw 11,944 more enrollments than last year’s enrollment period.  

2. Dental coverage enrollment hit 25,604 enrollees.

3. The state extended the deadline to Feb. 29 for those residents who lost coverage due to the exit of specific carriers from the state.  

4. Some of the payers that left the state exchange include HealthOP and Health Access Colorado.

5. The health exchange believes many people will still enroll for plans.
