CMS, Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange Partner to Launch ICD-10 Success Initiative

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange partnered to develop an ICD-10 Implementation Success Initiative, according to a Government Health IT report.

WEDI and CMS will work with a number of other public and private organizations to create a support system for the industry’s successful transition to ICD-10. The success initiative is composed of several different components, including a searchable database of ICD-10 issues.
