CareSource to offer Medicare Advantage in Ohio: 3 things to know

Dayton, Ohio-based CareSource will offer residents of Ohio Medicare Advantage options this year, the Dayton Daily News reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. CareSource offered residents of Kentucky and Indiana earlier in the year.

2. Of the 57 million enrolled in Medicare, 30 percent of enrollees are in Medicare Advantage plans.

3. The plans are expected to have tremendous growth potential in the future. A number of insurers and healthcare providers throughout Ohio are beginning to offer them.
