CareCredit, VCA Animal Hospital extend veterinary financing agreement — 5 takeaways

CareCredit extended its veterinary financing agreement with VCA Animal Hospitals.

2. Through the extension, CareCredit is the primary provider for pet owners looking for veterinary care financing options at more than 600 VCA hospitals.

3. VCA and CareCredit have a nearly 20-year working relationship.

4. VCA services include wellness exams, vaccines and diagnostic programs, oncology, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology and surgery.

5. A 2014 CareCredit study found 71 percent of pet owners considered or researched financing while 65 percent of pet owners researched procedures or treatments.
