Bundled payments software start-up plans continues to grow with new hires

Aver Informatics, a software and data analytics startup, has grown to 35 employees from 10 at the beginning of the year, according to a Columbus Business First report.

The company is a data-gathering intermediary between insurers and care providers that helps them determine a fair charge as they adopt bundled payments. Its clients include 18 health insurance and health system clients.

The start-up received $8.5 million in Series A funding from Drive and GE Ventures this summer and moved from Green Bay, Wis., to Columbus. It plans to 10 more hires by next spring, according to the report.
