Fellow Health Partners will handle billing-related functions for New York City-based Brooklyn Surgery Center after the two entered into a partnership.

Three things you should know:

1. Fellow will handle every aspect of the billing process from administrative efforts to claims denial.

2. Fellow will also train Brooklyn Surgery Center's staff on the billing process.

3. Brooklyn Surgery Center Administrator Phil Marino said, "Because of our commitment to excellence and our focus on freeing up all our doctors to focus strictly on patients and their needs, we chose Fellow Health Partners to manage all the distractions and problems that in-house billing can create for a facility."
