Here are four things to know.
1. BCH and Anthem haven’t reached an agreement upon contract terms since negotiations began in February.
2. Patients with Anthem insurance could lose in-network access to BCH facilities, including two ASCs and an endoscopy center.
3. The parties are still working to reach an agreement. If they don’t, BCH’s facilities agreement with Anthem will be terminated July 1 for these facilities:
- Endoscopy Center of the Rockies (Boulder; Lafayette, Colo.; and Longmont, Colo.)
- Foothills Surgery Center (Boulder)
- Boulder Surgery Center
- Boulder Community Hospital
- Foothills Hospital (Boulder)
- Boulder MRI
4. Anthem’s members would have to pay higher out-of-pocket fees to use those BCH facilities.
