Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan lowers rates for small employers

This week, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan plans to file a downward rate adjustment for small group customers.

Rates for employers renewing coverage in the third and fourth quarters of this year are expected to be an average of 3.3 percent lower.

In 2016, Blue Cross annual rate changes are expected to be 2.2 percent lower. Blue Care network rates are projected to be 4.8 percent lower.
