Here’s the percentage of block time used at ASCs, by specialty, in 2024, according to data from 590 ASCs in 47 states:
- Gastroenterology: 59.6%
- Ophthalmology: 56.7%
- Dental: 53.2%
- Plastic: 50.6%
- Urology: 41.4%
- ENT: 38.4%
- Pain: 37.1%
- Orthopedic: 35.1%
- OB-GYN: 30.9%
- Cardiovascular: 24%
- Podiatry: 21.4%
- General: 17.7%
