Anthem still committed to completing Cigna acquisition: 3 key notes

Anthem CEO Joseph Swedish reaffirmed the company’s position of completing its Cigna acquisition on an earnings call April 26, TheStreet reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Anthem completed its appeal case arguments in March. Mr. Swedish anticipates a decision from the appellate court soon.

2. The next trial hearing is May 8.

3. The merger agreement termination date between Anthem and Cigna is set for April 30.
