Anthem Health Agrees to Reimburse Providers for $400k in Underpayments Due to Faulty Billing

Anthem Health, based in Wallingford, Conn., has agreed to reprocess approximately 28,000 behavioral health reimbursement claims and reimburse healthcare providers for nearly $400,000 in underpayments, according to a report by The Day.

Anthem Health will undertake reprocessing due to using faulty bill practices dating back to Jan. 1. On May 1, Anthem will begin to inform healthcare providers of underpayments.
