Here are four notes.
1. The revisions include prevailing rates and maximum fees for 42 surgery centers. The schedule covers discount rates.
2. Sixteen surgery centers agreed to a maximum reimbursement of cost plus 10 percent for hardware, implants and prosthesis used in authorized workers’ compensation outpatient surgery cases that cost over $200.
3. The department also revised fee schedules for hospitals. Rates were unchanged from 2017 for most hospitals, but increased slightly for several, according to workcompcentral.com.
