Aetna to Join Citi’s Healthcare Billing Platform

Citi is developing a mobile, Web-based patient payment platform, and Aetna will be the first participating insurance carrier, according to mHIMSS.

Money2SM for Health has been developed to bring together a network of payors and healthcare providers to let patients use the Internet and mobile devices for billing purposes. It should launch in late 2013, according to the report.
