1. Professional Management is a regional billing company based out of Baltimore. AdvantEdge acquired the company and its client base to expand its Mid-Atlantic presence.
2. AdvantEdge President and CEO David Langsam said the acquisition was a “great fit.” He feels confident the resources AdvantEdge can supply to Professional Management will help the company to continue to grow in the healthcare ecosystem.
3. As a result of the acquisition, Professional Management’s former President Dave Nicholson will join AdvantEdge as an executive vice president.
4. Mr. Nicholson said, “AdvantEdge and PMI share a deep commitment to Client FirstSM service and collecting the most reimbursement that our clients are legally and ethically entitled to. The strategic decision to align our company with AdvantEdge was about expanding our resources to enhance that commitment to excellence.”
