AAPC: 8 Waived Tests for 2014

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released the latest Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments waived tests, according to an AAPC report.

The tests have retroactive effective dates, which mean Medicare administrative contractors are required to reconsider all such claims, but are not required to make good on such claims already submitted for reimbursement, according to the report.
