AAP: Use Extra Time to Conduct More ICD-10 Testing

More than $6 billion has been invested in preparing for the ICD-10 transition, which has now been delayed for a year, according to an American Academy of Pediatrics News report.

While the reaction to the delay has been mixed, the APP suggests that providers take the extra time to conduct more testing and improve their level of preparedness for the new code set.
