61% of Americans against Medicaid expansion cuts — 5 poll takeaways

A CNN/ORC poll revealed a split America in regards to the ACA's individual mandate to purchase health insurance.

The poll included a random national sample of 1,025 adults.

Here are five takeaways:

1. Fifty percent of those polled are against revoking the mandate, with 48 percent for removal.

2. Eighty-seven percent of those polled back the ACA's pre-exiting conditions section.

3. Of those polled, 61 percent do not support a new plan that cuts Medicaid expansion funding.

4. While 46 percent of people support age-driven tax credits, 50 percent are against it.

5. Thirty-one percent of respondents are against insurance sales across state lines, while 66 percent are for it.
