57% of voters disapprove of American Health Care Act following CBO report

A recently released Hamden, Conn.-based Quinnipiac University poll found 57 percent of the U.S. public disapproves of the American Healthcare Care Act, according to CNN Politics.

Here’s what you should note:

1. The poll comes one day after the Congressional Budget Office report found the bill will cause 14 million people to lose insurance by 2018.

2. Seventeen percent of independent voters said they are more likely to vote for a Congressional member who supported the bill.

3. Forty-one said this would make them less likely to vote for that member.

4. Sixty-two percent said they do not approve of how President Donald Trump handles healthcare.

5. Thirty-two percent support his efforts on healthcare so far.
