5 things to know about PMC’s Online Analytics

PMC, a provider of revenue cycle management solutions, released its bundling and population health benchmarking module within its market analysis tool, Online Analytics.

Here are five things to know:

1.Users of the tool can access portions of the national CS Standard Analytics file that is formatted around bundling and population health initiatives.

2. Online Analytics will additionally give patients’ annual consumption across the continuum of care and for bundled episodes within defined markets and disease categories.

3. Healthcare providers can utilize the tool to understand the payer’s perspective about the market in terms of Medicare bundled case rates and population health.

4. The tool will compare and evaluate healthcare providers’ prospects and bid packages for new Medicare bundled case payments and population health. The data is characterized by age, sex, geographic region and disease category.

5. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services provide episodic data for the data set.
