    •    ICD-10: prepare for new coding processes, increased specificity and challenges if unprepared for the transition.
    •    Payment cuts: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s final rule has mandated payment cuts to a number of different procedures.
    •    Negotiating with private payers: reimbursement cuts apply only to Medicare. Prepare to work with private payers to negotiate favorable rates.
