Physician leaders of ASCs are responsible for everything from accounting to waste removal, according to MedHQ.

MedHQ shared three common mistakes for physician leaders to avoid:

1. Not staying up to date on new codes and billing regulations
2. Failing to monitor and protect patient, provider and payer data
3. Not delegating responsibilities as needed
