Utah Governor Signs Bill for Public Reporting of Infections

Utah Gov. Gary Herbert has signed a bill that now requires hospitals, outpatient surgical facilities and dialysis centers to report infection rates to the state’s Department of Health, which in turn will publish the data on an annual basis, according to a Herald Journal news report.
