The Surgery Center of Middle Tennessee receives accreditation: 5 key notes

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care granted The Surgery Center of Middle Tennessee. Here are five things to know about the center:

1. There are 14 physicians associated with the center.

2. Specialties and procedures at the center include orthopedics, joint arthroscopy, epidural steroid injections, cataract surgery, intraocular lens implants and YAG laser procedures.

3. The center’s director is Rachel Chavez, RN, who has worked in all functions in the operating room in several specialties in Middle Tennessee.

4. The surgery center can accommodate add-on cases at the last minute and employs block time for new physicians at the center.

5. The Surgery Center of Middle Tennessee promotes physician services with the digital presence and within a referring physician network and practice staff.
