A licensed practical nurse from Bluff City, Tenn., has been put on three years' probation after the state Board of Nursing discovered she neglected patients and falsified patient records, according to a Kingsport Times-News report.

The nurse, who was working at NHC Healthcare in Johnson City at the time, failed to administer blood sugar checks and insulin to patients on multiple occasions and improperly maintained patient records. The nurse admitted to the wrongdoings and said "she was busy preparing for an upcoming inspection and she had to prioritize what to leave off," according to the news report.
