The Surgery Center of Scottsdale received accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care late in 2014, according to an AAAHC newsletter.

Here are five things to know about the Surgery Center of Scottsdale:

• The ASC is affiliated with United Surgical Partners International.
• There are four operating rooms and three procedure rooms in the ASC.
• Specialties at the center include pain management, orthopedics, spine and ENT.
• Amber Bruns is the administrator and Tory McJunkin, MD, is the medical director.
• There are 12 physicians on the medical staff.
