3. The Joint Commission developed the certification to meet the growing number of patients undergoing the advanced procedures.
4. Since opening in 2014, patients undergoing the procedure at Summit had a 96.2 out of 100 level of satisfaction. The center’s infection rate was between 0.1 percent and 0.5 percent, and the average time from surgery to ambulation was between 3 hours and ten minutes to three hours and 23 minutes.
