Dr. Kevin Petersen to Perform Free Surgery at Nevada’s Medical District Surgery Center

Kevin Petersen, MD, will perform surgeries at no cost for two uninsured Nevada residents at Medical District Surgery Center on Feb. 20, according to a FOX 5 Vegas report.

Dr. Petersen founded Helping Hands Surgical Care, a company that provides surgeries at no cost to uninsured or underinsured patients. The two surgeries constitute the second round of free surgeries provided by HHSC since Nov. 10, 2011, when 10 medically necessary surgeries were provided at no cost to qualifying patients.
