Shoreline Vision Ambulatory Surgical Center receives accreditation: 5 key notes

Shoreline Vision Ambulatory Surgical Center in Muskegon achieved accreditation, according to the Fruitport Area News.

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care granted the accreditation.

Here are five key notes:

1. The surgery center includes two operating rooms, a laser treatment room and preoperative and postoperative facilities.

2. The surgery center is affiliated with Shoreline Vision and includes services such as diabetic eye care, glaucoma treatment, bladeless LASIK surgery and retina treatment and surgery.

3. Five physicians joined together in 1996 to form Shoreline Vision.

4. Michelle Cassens, RN, is the practice’s executive director. Madeline Brooks is the financial director and Angie Breen is the business operations manager.

5. Shoreline Vision now has 12 physicians.
