The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accredited Fort Lupton, Colo.-based Salud Family Health Center.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The federally qualified health center has 12 locations throughout Colorado.

2. The centers provide medical, dental, pharmacy and behavioral health services.

3. The National Association of Community Health Centers awarded the center’s environmental health director and physician assistant Ed Hendrikson, PhD, its Louis S. Garcia Community Migrant Health Service Award in 2016.
