The Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center, of Bangor, Maine, earned its accreditation after the Joint Commission conducted an unannounced three-day review, The Daily Progress reports. Here are three thoughts. 

The bariatric surgical center at the Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center in Windber, Pa., was recently reaccredited by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program, The Tribune-Democrat reported.
