1. The 16,000-squre-foot medical facility is open seven days per week to accommodate patients.
2. The center was founded in 2003 by Omnicare Anesthesia, Brooklyn Anesthesia Group and Omnicare Plus along with physicians Evans Crevecoeur, MD, and Jean Lionnel Vaval, MD.
3. The center includes pain management, gastroenterology, gynecology, urology, cardiology, pediatric care and podiatry.
4. The facility was contentious, as hospitals in New York contested the center’s opening. The center projected performing 4,400 surgeries per year.
