Ohio surgery center gains Joint Commission accreditation

Canton, Ohio-based Oasis Surgery Center gained ambulatory care accreditation from the Joint Commission after an on-site review.

During the on-site review in May, commission reviewers evaluated the center’s compliance with several ambulatory care standards, including patient safety, emergency management and care environment.

The Oasis Surgery Center specializes in orthopedic care, including joint replacement surgery, sports medicine surgeries and pain management care.
