NueHealth’s Gold Coast Surgery Center achieves AAAHC advanced certification — 3 notes

Gold Coast Surgery Center in Chicago became the first ASC in the Midwest to achieve the Orthopaedic Advanced Certification: Total Joint Program from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Here are three things to know.

1. The ASC is a facility of Leawood, Kansas-based NueHealth.

2. NueHealth has a portfolio of more than 150 facilities, including physician-owned surgery centers and surgical hospitals. The company generates approximately $776 million of consolidated revenue annually.

3. “Going through the process challenged us to find better ways to serve our patients, and it is a constant reminder that our responsibility is to strive to continuously improve the quality of care we provide,” said Mary Dailey, senior vice president of clinical operations at NueHealth.
