The ASC underwent an unannounced onsite evaluation from The Joint Commission as part of accreditation, according to a Jan. 10 news release shared with Becker’s.
“The Gold Seal of Approval is a massive achievement, and our doctors and staff are so proud to say and know that we meet the highest national standards in health care at North Pointe Surgery Center,” Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster CEO Bill Weik said in the release. “This is great news for the level of care in our community, region and every patient that walks through our surgery center doors.”
