The surgery center, called St. Michael’s Center for Special Surgery, will focus initially on carpal tunnel syndrome treatment and procedures, and possibly expand services offered in the future.
The Brown Hand Center, with locations in three states, was founded by Michael G. Brown, MD, who patented the Brown Procedure for carpal tunnel syndrome; the approach involves a small incision using special blades developed by Dr. Brown.
