Three key details:
1. The certification builds off AAAHC accreditation, and recognizes facilities that have a core team of clinicians experienced in orthopedics who have met specialty-specific standards.
2. Minnesota Valley Surgery Center administrator Sharon Richmond said the certification “is the result of commitment by our medical providers and staff to work collaboratively and to provide high quality care that improves the lives of our patients. Special credit is due to quality program coordinator and registered nurse Aimee Johnson, who spearheaded the certification effort.”
3. The Minnesota Valley Surgery Center opened in 2006 and specializes in orthopedics and musculoskeletal disorders.
