Main Line Endoscopy, Northpoint Surgery and Laser Center, Poway Surgery Center get AAAHC accreditation

Three AmSurg-affiliated outpatient facilities underwent successful accreditation surveys recently.

Between December 2014 and January 2015, Main Line Endoscopy center in Malvern, Pa., Northpoint Surgery and Laser Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., and Poway (Calif.) Surgery Center all underwent Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Surveys.

All three received accreditation.

Main Line Endoscopy Centers focuses on outpatient endoscopic services with a special interest in colon cancer screenings and gastroenterology. The center includes 18 experienced physicians and three locations.

North Point Surgery and Laser Centers includes digestive, ENT, eye surgery, gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics and pain management. The center is also Medicare-certified and includes five operating rooms, two procedure rooms and a pain management center.
