Joint Commission updates ASC deeming standards

The Joint Commission has updated the language of its Medicare deeming standards, though the changes will require no extra action from surgery centers, according to a post on Ambulatory Buzz.

According to the post, most changes are simply clarifying and will not affect activities ASCs are already performing.
