Joint Commission’s revises EPs for deemed status option

The Joint Commission has revised several of its elements of performance for ambulatory surgery centers using The Joint Commission’s deemed status option.

The revisions are “designed to demonstrate equivalency to the current Medicare Conditions for Coverage,” according to the organization.
