Joint Commission releases updated accountability measures list

The Joint Commission made available a list of 2014 accountability measures that include the year they were designated.

The list includes:

· Year each measure was designated
· Measure set
· Measure ID number
· Measure name

The new measures for 2014 are highlighted.

Measure categories are heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical, children’s asthma, inpatient psychiatric services, venous thromboembolism, stroke, perinatal, immunization, tobacco treatment and substance use care.
